What is SMART Recovery?

SMART = Self-Management and Recovery Training

Group support for people (16+) with problematic behaviours, including addiction to drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, gambling, food, shopping, Internet and others

Problematic behaviours are ongoing actions that damage or make your social relations difficult, they strain communications and cause harm to you or others around you. Our SMART Recovery Group Trainers are here to support and encourage you, and to help you to understand what drives your behaviour so that you can manage it better. Through weekly SMART group meetings our trainers will help you set some personal goals relating to your problematic behaviour and develop the skills you need to achieve them.

Weekly group meetings are Free and Confidential. They go for 90 minutes and no booking is necessary- just show up and be ready to participate.
