RECENT GRADUATE OR A STUDENT?
Insights and reflections from our recent graduates
“I joined Country & Outback Health as a People & Culture Graduate Advisor after finishing my Bachelor of Business at the University of Newcastle. Making the move from NSW to SA was a big step, but I was welcomed into the Nuriootpa office with open arms. The HR team has been incredibly supportive, and I’ve learned so much in a short time. I feel genuinely valued and encouraged to grow in my role. I’d highly recommend Country & Outback Health to any future graduates looking for a meaningful and supportive start to their career.”

“I felt incredibly welcomed and supported by the team at Country and Outback Health during my time with them. The staff are truly dedicated to their clients, showing great empathy and respect in all they do. I feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to work alongside such a compassionate and professional team. This experience has strengthened my interest in pursuing future employment as a mental health nurse. I cannot recommend Country and Outback Health highly enough.
Thank you for having me ” – Nicole Bungert
“I completed my fourth year PCP placement with Country and Outback Health in Port Augusta from 10th Feb 2025 until the 11th of April 2025. The placement was 9 weeks, and I was supported by my supervisor throughout the entire process. Due to choosing the complete the placement in Port Augusta, and our supervisor being based in Port Lincoln, we met weekly via Microsoft teams for supervision. She was extremely welcoming and approachable between these supervision sessions. A benefit of undertaking this placement with Country and Outback Health was their range of office locations. Due to the nature of our project, we could choose to complete the project in different communities, and despite being away from our supervisor the other COBH clinicians in our office were truly welcoming.” – Student Testimonial (PCP Placement 2025)
