Description

headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12‑25 year olds, along with assistance in promoting young peoples' wellbeing.  This covers four core areas: mental health, physical health, work and study support and alcohol and other drug services.

 

About the role

  • Part of a passionate and supportive team who are dedicated to helping young people and provide them and their families with
           timely services that meet their needs.
  • Effectively contribute to the delivery of time limited focused interventions for young people with mental health concerns
           in primary care.

About you

  • If you have a passion for achieving the best possible mental health outcomes for young people and their families, then this is the
           role for you!
  • We are seeking someone with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work within a
           team environment.
  • Minimum qualification: undergraduate or graduate qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or Occupational
           Therapy with training in Mental Health, or Mental Health Nursing.
  • Hold current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) or current full membership
           with the applicable Australian Professional Association (i.e. AASW).
