What is Flying headspace?

Flying headspace, in partnership with the Royal Flying Doctor Service, brings mental health services to young people living in remote locations, where mental health services are limited.

With a focus on early intervention, we work with young people aged 10-25 years, to provide support and therapy at a crucial times in your life – guide you back on track and teach you lifelong skills to manage your mental health.

Country & Outback Health operate three headspace Centres in South Australia. They are located in Port Augusta, Whyalla and Port Lincoln. Our Flying headspace service is managed through headspace Port Augusta.

 

Our Flying headspace team are mental health professionals, they can also support young people to connect to other services within headspace and or other health care services that will support:

Physical and sexual health. Safe, confidential and judgement-free medical advice and treatment.

Alcohol and other drugs. Information and support with treating addiction. Alcohol and drug counselling to tackle the complexities of alcohol and drug issues.

Work and study. Support to access headspace work and study online.

How much do appointments with Flying headspace cost?

This is a FREE service. headspace National Youth Mental Health Foundation is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health.
