Yorketown Medical Practice Welcomes Dr Bukhari and Family to the Community

Yorketown Medical Practice is thrilled to welcome Dr Faisal Bukhari, his wife Maria, and their son Sam to the Yorketown community. The family moved to Yorketown on Saturday June 14.

The family was warmly welcomed by Dr Kokar and the Yorketown Medical Practice staff.  Dr Bukhari expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and shared how happy he and his family are to be joining the Yorketown community.

Dr Bukhari brings with him a wealth of experience and qualifications. He completed his MBBS at Xi’an Jiaotong University in China in 2012 and undertook his internship in Pakistan. He later moved to the UK, where he earned his MRCGP and Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice in 2021. He also holds a Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University and has completed advanced training in dermoscopy, minor surgical skills, and joint injections.

With over a decade of clinical experience across the UK, Dr Bukhari has worked in a variety of settings including urgent care, general practice, and hospital-based roles. His clinical expertise spans cardiovascular, respiratory, gastroenterology, women’s health, paediatrics, geriatrics, mental health, and more. He is also experienced in supervising junior doctors and physician associates, and is passionate about continuous professional development.

Dr Bukhari’s arrival is a significant boost to local healthcare services, and we’re confident he will be a valued member of both our team and the wider community. We invite the community to join us in giving a warm Yorketown welcome to the Bukhari family.
