This week we welcomed the first of 6 cohorts of Podiatry students from the University of SA, completing their placement with Country & Outback Health.
Andy, Eleni, Jedd and Savanna, will be under the tutelage of our senior Podiatrist, Julie Yap, for the next 4 weeks in Whyalla, performing biomechanical assessments on volunteer staff member’s feet, ankles and lower legs. The Students will then be required to make a pair of simple orthotic devices for the volunteers to be fitted in their 4th week.
