Recently, we were advised that an anonymous member of the community has nominated Country & Outback Health for the 2019 South Australian Community Achievement Awards. Our nomination in the category of the Rural Doctors Workforce Agency Rural Community Health and Wellbeing Award, required us to provide detailed responses to several categories including; the contribution that we make to the community, barriers faced (and how these are being overcome), and commitment to continual improvement.

Just to be nominated for such an award is fantastic, however yesterday we were also advised that Country & Outback Health has been considered worthy to progress to the semi-final stage! We are so proud and humbled to have been nominated for such an award. Sincerely, thank you!

Winners will be announced at the Awards Gala Presentation Dinner on Friday 1 November.
