My Steps

My Steps

Support and psychological based counselling for people who are misusing or have an addiction to alcohol or other drugs

The My Steps program can provide you with the support, guidance and therapeutic intervention that you may need to reduce or stop your use of addictive substances, alcohol and or other drugs.

My Steps is a community base program, which means that we can arrange for your time with the My Steps team to be at your home, at work or at another safe community location. The My Steps team understand the impact that alcohol and other drugs can have on your life and your family, they can offer you confidential and honest support.

My Steps can provide you with the intensive support that you may need to help you:

  • Develop strategies and coping methods for withdrawal that work for you
  • Recognise your individual strengths and abilities which you can use to achieve your personal goals
  • Connect to other community services who can assist with improving your physical health, housing, social life, finances and self-care
  • Establish peer connections who can provide ongoing support

My Steps towards helping you to:

  • Reduce or stop your use of alcohol and or other drugs
  • Live a healthier, safer life
  • Build a support network
  • Increase your social, emotional and physical wellbeing

My Steps is a free program that is best suited to people 16 years and over.
